I want to add a new item dish/ edit/ delete an existing one from my menu. I want to add a combo item to my menu.
After the sub-category has been added as discussed in ‘How to add, edit and delete a sub-category in the POS menu?’, the next step is to add the dishes. An item has some mandatory properties like name, price, and properties like item code, item type (veg/ non-veg), description, image, variants, add ons are optional.
Similarly, the staff can add a combo or set meals to the menu as well. A combo is a set of already existing items that complement each other and, the outlet may offer some discounts on it. For example, a combo of two individual items like a burger and fries can be added to the menu. This helps in increasing the average order value.
