[How to edit a section in the POS of my outlet](https://help.easyeat.ai/how-to-add/edit-a-section-in-pos#Section2) ### **How to add a section in the POS of my outlet?** The owner can define different sections in the POS based on the table layout of his outlet. While creating a new order from the ‘Order Dashboard’, staff can choose the section and table number to be served. Tables can be switched from section to section from the ‘Tables’ option in ‘Sections & Printers’. Creating different sections is helpful when the outlet has multiple dine-in areas/floors. Fill in the section name in the ‘**Section Name**’ tab. You can specify the number of rows and columns in the ‘**Rows**’ and ‘**Columns**’ tabs (reflected while setting the table layout). Once done, click on the **‘Save’** button in the bottom right and a section will be added.         In the screenshot attached below, a section named Lawn with 10 rows and 8 columns has been added.
