We would like to inform you that EasyEat AI Sdn Bhd is now SST compliant, as per the latest requirement by the Malaysian government. Starting 14th April 2023, we'll be charging 8% SST on our tech fees and payment gateway (PG) fees. ### Please see a brief FAQ in order to better understand: #### Q. What all services will be taxed under SST? A. All the services provided by EasyEat will attract SST namely:           1. Technology fee or platform fee           2. PG fee #### Q. What is the applicable rate of SST? A. The current tax rate is 8% as per the regulations in Malaysia. Please note these rates are subject to change as per Government notifications from time to time. #### Q. Will this cause any delay in my settlement? A. This will not impact your settlement frequency. You will still get the settlements every day (T+1) #### Q. Will it be made deductible from our sales, or do we have to pay separately? A. It will be deducted from the settlement amount as mentioned above. #### Q. How will it look in my settlement? A. You will be able to identify SST separately in your settlement Report  #### Q. Will I get an invoice? A. We will upload the monthly invoice in the HQ and it will be available for you to download at any time #### Q. Can the restaurant take credit for this SST? A. Malaysia is not practicing the input tax & output tax system. The SST paid to EasyEat by the restaurants cannot be used to offset with SST collected from the customers. #### Q. I don't have SST registration can I charge customers? A. As per the regulations in Malaysia, you can not charge SST to your customers/diners unless you are SST registered. #### Q. Will it impact my existing customer bills? A.
