The outlet must have Google Business Profile to enable Place ID feature
What is the function of Place ID feature in POS?
The Place ID option in your POS is mainly used to link your restaurant on EasyEat with its Google Business profile. With the help of this feature if a customer gives the restaurant a rating of 4 or above on EasyEat App, the customer will be redirected to google business profile of your restaurant where they can register their positive feedback.
Prerequisites for setting PLACE ID- The outlet must have Google Business Profile to enable Place ID feature. To set up a Google Business profile for your restaurant click here.
How to access your Place ID?
Step 1- Go to your Google Business page and copy your outlet’s business-id name (EasyEat as highlighted in this case)
Step 2- Search ‘Place ID Finder’ on google or click here and you’ll be directed to a Google Place-id finder Platform
Step 3- Scroll to Find the ID of a particular place section on the webpage. In the search bar fill in the copied details in the format ‘Your Restaurant Name' (Address if required) as shown in screenshot below and copy the place-id as seen in the screenshot.

Step 5- Login into your POS.
Step 6- Navigate to the ‘Edit Restaurant Details’ section.
Step 7- Click on the ‘Edit’ button on the right.
Step 8- Scroll to the ‘Place ID’ section. And paste the Place ID you copied earlier
Step 9- Save and Refresh.
Please Note: The reviews will be posted on google business account visible to the people. Reviews that are 4 and above (out of 5) only will be posted on google business profile with the customer's permission.
