How to Start Table Booking

Onboarding Steps:

Demo video:

  • Configure the module from the POS

There will be a new tab in the side navigation bar in the POS. The merchant must follow a 9-step process to set up the table bookings module. This configuration includes setting up availability, slot size, booking fees, etc.

  • Create Preset coupons for booking fee adjustment

If the merchant has selected the booking fee to be adjustable, the backend team needs to create some preset coupons for the merchant manually.

- If the booking fee is RM10 per booking, only one preset coupon needs to be created:
Flat RM10 discount. The name of this preset coupon must be something that can help anyone understand what this preset is for. Example: BookingFeeDiscount10

- If the booking fee is RM10 per pax, we can create a couple of preset coupons that would cover the majority of our use cases

  1. PAX2, Preset Discount - RM20, Name- BookingFeeDiscount20
  2. PAX4, Preset Discount - RM40, Name- BookingFeeDiscount40
  3. PAX5, Preset Discount - RM50, Name- BookingFeeDiscount50
  4. PAX6, Preset Discount - RM60, Name- BookingFeeDiscount60

  • Create a query to track refunds and process them via the Finance team
