How does the quick notes feature work in the POS?

I want to add some common order-related requests to my system.

Quick notes are instruction templates that enable the customer to add order-related instructions while placing the order on the Easyeat user application. The staff can pre-define some instructions they usually get in their daily orders so that the end user can select the instruction instead of typing it all out. It works the same way for POS orders as well, refer here to learn more about creating orders on POS.

This is how the end user will be able to use them in the user application-

Steps to be followed by staff to add quick notes-

Step 1-  Login into your POS

Step 2-  Navigate to the ‘Menu’ section from the side menu.

Step 3-  Click on the Add New button in the Quick Notes section. A box will appear.

Step 4- Type in the request you want to add and click on the Add button.

Here, we have added a request to keep the spice level less for the food.

Step 5- In order to make the note visible to your customers, click on the eye icon in front of the instruction so that it turns blue. However, it will be still visible in the POS order dashboard even if the eye icon is off.

Quick notes can be very efficient if used wisely. They help save time and convey accurate instructions to the staff. This is how the notes are reflected on the POS order screen.
